Thanks to the producers at Raw Talent my tracks got passed through to Tom Robinson on 6music last week who played ‘My Butt Hurts’ on his show and on the Introducing podcast. He also chose the track to showcase on Friction on the BBC Asian Network for which which I am humbled and delighted. There’s a few more days left to listen to these if you’re interested!

Sorry for the lack of updates on Pledge and on here. I started a new job this week so my brain has been occupied with that, mostly, although I have made three new songs in the last three weeks and I can’t wait to put some sneaky peeks online. I think once the Pledge target hits 110% I’ll send out an mp3 teaser of one of the tracks.

In the meantime I’m DJing tomorrow night in Leeds at the Cissy end of tour party. Cissy have had a bit of bad luck this week with cancelled gigs and so on, so I know they’ll want as many people to come along as possible in their home city. Thanks everyone for your support; I've now hit the target of 100%. The progress and speed of this appeal has been startling - I asked for a two month deadline and have hit the threshold amount well within two weeks. I will continue to keep everyone updated as the LP is written and pressed and you can come back here any time to check progress.

The Pledge campaign will remain open for around six weeks. If I raise enough additional cash I will be approaching bands with a view to putting together a compilation LP since I thought it would be nice to spread the wealth a little. If I don't get enough for that I will release something else for Printed Circuit. Either way I will be offering a special discount or exclusive to all pledgers as a thankyou for pushing the campaign even further. I may add a few more exclusives down the line as well, but best to see how things are going in a month or so and take it from there.

I will also start processing and posting exclusives now. The t-shirts will take a little while - don't panic if you don't hear anything for a few weeks. The tapes, signed items and download codes should go out a little sooner but international post can be slow at times so again, bear with me. If you have ordered a t-shirt and another item I will hang on to your order until your shirt is ready to be more economical with the Pledge funds. I've had a really exciting few weeks watching the Pledge Music page and just want to say thanks to everyone who stuck their neck out and pledged and to the staff who have been nothing but helpful. The new friends I have made have given rise to a few new side-projects, most notably an animated music video which is being made especially for the album release. Naturally pledgers will be the first to see it; watch this space.
